Last year, my brother had designed a logo for me ( you can see the rest of his awesome portfolio here) from a mash-up of ideas that we had, and I thought I would take the time here to explain the different elements involved.
First off is the Celtic knot theme - I was raised to be proud of my Irish heritage, and I've always had a love of Celtic knots. The message behind a never ending line strikes a chord with me, both as a realization that almost everything is connected and that you should never forget where you start from. The logo is made up of two separate continuous line segments, one is a circle and the other is a line that winds around it.
The next element is the letter 'B', meaning Brady, highlighted in blue. This signifies my heritage like I previously mentioned, and also as a promise to be true to my word as a Brady.
The last element is the gear shape. I've been a gear-head for as long as I can remember, and I love systems in motion. Most of what I'll offer here will be dynamic in some form or another.
Hopefully this satiates some measure of curiosity...
